After the end of the Scat Pack in 1971, Dodge was able to feature one more set of jacket that weren’t related to the Scat Pack or affiliated with any club.
Starting in 1972 Dodge issued two more jackets, a lined and unlined (much like the 70-1/2 version.
Just like it reads, “Special Jacket Offer To All Dodge News Readers” To the best of my knowledge these are jackets that could have been purchased through mail orders with offers found in the “Dodge New Magazine”

Here is both of them together. Above add says they have a “Wet Look”….and they really do.
Here is a closer look at the Lined jacket……

The back plane with No patches.

The ever so popular “Talon” nylon zipper , is still white in color.

Non elastic sleeves with single button snap.

Unique front pockets with double button snaps.

Cool checkered pattern stripe.

Very Thin material on the non-lined version.

Tag says “Great Lakes Jacket company” Detroit. Linking this Manufacturer to the jacket and the advertisement strengthens my findings on the 70-1/2 Scat Pack jacket that carries the same tag.
